Students at Harrow New York will benefit from a dedicated college counseling service, led by experts and benefiting from Harrow School’s rich experience and success in this area. Through a carefully gradated program, students will explore and refine their choices before being fully supported throughout the application process.  

At Harrow New York we instill a global outlook in our students and languages are a key part of this. All students in Grades 6-10 study Latin and at least one modern language.  

Yes, Harrow New York is coeducational throughout.

No, we conduct rolling Admissions year-round. Learn about our admissions process.

All applicants sit the online Harrow New York test, for which no preparation is required. We require no other standardized testing. Candidates attending the School for interview will sit Harrow New York’s own short tests in English and Math.

Yes. All students at Harrow New York complete regular homework in age-appropriate amounts throughout their time at the School. Homework represents a valuable opportunity for students to practice, reflect on and consolidate their knowledge of the material covered in class.

We believe that diversity strengthens and enriches our community. With that in mind, we strive to attract students and faculty from a wide range of backgrounds.

Harrow New York is a home away from home. Each weekend sees a full program of activities and enrichment activities, as well as ample opportunities for rest, relaxation and socializing, for all full-boarding students.

Families of full-boarding students whose homes are too far away from School to make returning home for a long weekend practical are required to identify a local educational guardian, who will care for the student while the School is closed. A number of agencies are specialist providers of these services.
